Tunturi is the largest bicycle manufacturer in Finland with a
history spanning over 80 years. In 1969 they ventured into the
fitness equipment market with the launch of the Tunturi W1 – an
exercise bike and the first ever exercise device for home use.
It was a huge success with more than one million manufactured and
it still holds the title for the world’s best ever selling
piece of home exercise equipment.
